- Ġahwra is a work hailing from 2001, originally performed by Ensemble Cymru in the Bangor New Music Festival 2002. It was given a second performance in 2015 at a concert of contemporary music at the archbishop’s curia in Floriana. The instrumentation is flute (Fiorella Camilleri), clarinet ( Graziella Vella), guitar (Luca Lucini) and cello (Yaroslav Miklukho). It is in 7 short sections depicting a holiday in my home country Malta. The word Ġahwra is in Maltese and means jewel, a precious stone.
