  • Il- Kantilena (A 500 year Old Lament, a Lament For Today)
  • Il-Kantilena is a multi-media opera commissioned for the fortieth anniversary of Malta becoming a Republic. It is based on ‘Il-Kantilena’ the oldest known poem in Maltese. It was premiered on the sixth of December 2014 at Teatru Manoel, the National Theatre to a full house. It incorporates electronic and acoustic music along with singing, dancing , video projections and a narrator. It is the first ever Maltese multi-media opera.
